[gallery]Hi! I don’t know if it’s me, but when did the superbowl move into
february? I must have tuned out for a few years there… but, even if
you are totally into the superbowl, I am playing at the Rodeo Bar in
NYC after it’s over, or when it’s almost over… with my band, who
will be Steve Purcell, Benny Cha Cha Rubin, Teddy Kumpel and special
guest Jason Crosby… we’ll start around 9 and play till the soundman
makes us stop. (btw, I am always thankful to have a soundperson!)

If you can’t make it Sunday, there is still hope. Jason Crosby and I
are playing at Banjo Jim’s this Thursday, Feb.11th, at Banjo Jim’s, on
Ave C + 9th St. NY NY from 10-12. We’ll mix it up; we had a great run
during last month’s residency at 68 Jay St; and we’ll feature many of
the tunes we played there. We are also planning on recording soon,
which is really exciting. Jason is incredible

And if that isn’t enough, on Friday I’m hopping on a plane and coming
to Ohio for the weekend to meet back up with the Spikedrivers. We are
playing in Athens, OH Friday February 12 at Casa Nueva Cantina, and we
are doing a LIVE recording at Skully’s Music Diner on Saturday Feb.
